“This song has been a very big New York Dance Classic. It was given a fresh run in 92 as borrowed by Ashley Beedle’s Black Science Orchestra alias (“Where were you”) And again in 94, Kenny Dope sampled it in the B-Side of the original Bucketheads 12″ single (“I wanna know”). Yes the one that had “The Bomb” on the other side. Obviously the huge success of “The Bomb” eclipsed it, and it was withdrawn from subsequent pressings. This song was also remixed on a scarce bootleg release a few years back which was rumoured to be the work of Joe Claussell. My version is a classic re-edit of the very original Tom Moulton full length mix from 1977″
